Project Description: Conservation of an existing hotel into 6 high end quality residential apartments.


A development involving demolition, conservation of an existing front façade of a listed hotel and conversion into 7 storey 6 units of high end apartments with a basement and roof top terrace at St. Stephens Gardens, Paddington.

Scope of works & Key Objectives

  1. As a listed building, the exterior is design to retain its decorative features of high historical significance especially its unique floor terraces.
  2. Rich mixture of conserved elements and new interventions including a design of new suspended glass floor and staircase at Mezzanine floor.
  3. High quality materials has been carefully selected to meet the requirement of the top of the end market demand.
  4. Large rooflight on top of roof terrace with mechanical operating system and sun pipe was designed to ensure maximum exposure of natural light.
